Life Insurance

Ministry of Finance Notification No 0338 issued on 31 March 2020 announced certain measures regarding COVID-19. It deferred the deadline for submission by insurers of their annual 2019 financial reports and associated reporting requirements until 30 April 2020. Pensions

The Insurance Law (Amended) No 78/NA came into effect on 15 April 2020, updating and replacing the Insurance Law (Amended) No 06/NA dated 21 December 2011. The law clarified that life insurance policies may be participating, non-participating or with investment. Products which can be provided by life insurers include annuities. Any new product outside the current permitted range of products may be marketed subject to the regulator's prior approval ....
