After the triumphant success of our inaugural conference and awards last year, we decided to up the ante. The outcome was the introduction of the Global Insurance Week, a unique platform dedicated to fostering learning, networking, and sharing of experience among the normally the disparate multinational insurance industry.
The curtain raiser was our Global Insurance Conference, where we welcomed delegates from across the globe to London. With speakers from across the market, shining light on an array of topics from Navigating Geopolitical and Macroeconomic Headwinds to debates on ‘The Limitations of a Financial Interest Clause’, ‘Aligning Captive Solutions with Global Programmes to Optimise Risk Management Solutions Across Borders’ and plenty more.
Following the conference we hosted two enlightening Masterclasses, where those lucky enough to be in attendance were treated to in-depth sessions into regional insurance markets, with a special focus on China and Africa. These insightful sessions were steered by a combination of our very own Global Consultants and researchers as well as and key experts from the respective regions, including speakers from Peak Re, Allianz and The World Bank.
To cap off the week, we had the Axco Global Insurance Awards—a chance to dust off the black tie and celebrate excellence within the multinational insurance industry. As is typical of all things multinational, all of the awards on offer were hotly contested, providing us with a host of more-than-worthy winners at the end of the night.
Now that we’ve had some time to reflect on the inaugural Global Insurance Week, we wanted to say thank you to all those who made the events successful.
