London, 23 September 2026 – Axco, a leading provider of global insurance and employee benefits information, has appointed Flemming Bengtsen as Managing Director, effective immediately.
Axco Insurance Information Services (Axco), a provider of insurance and employee benefits information, has appointed Flemming Bengtsen to lead the business as it accelerates its growth strategy and continues to expand its global market intelligence capabilities.
Flemming brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across insurance, fintech, risk management and technology. Throughout his career, he has successfully led businesses through periods of transformation and growth, combining commercial focus with operational excellence.
He founded and led Nimbla, building the trade credit insurance MGA and technology platform from start-up through to acquisition. During his tenure, Nimbla established strategic partnerships with Barclays and Starling Bank, helping improve access to trade credit insurance for small and medium-sized businesses. Most recently, he held senior leadership roles at United Fintech and Satago, where he led business growth, operational transformation and strategic change initiatives.
His appointment comes at a time of increasing demand for trusted international insurance and employee benefits intelligence. As organisations navigate increasingly complex regulatory, risk and market environments, Axco continues to invest in its products, data capabilities and customer experience to support better decision-making worldwide.
